Our hugely popular Townsville Corporate Amazing Race is based on the popular TV Show and has been around in Queensland for over 17 years; we were the first to turn this Amazing Race into the perfect team building event.

Your team must solve puzzles, tasks and clues to receive the Corporate Amazing Race sealed envelope, which contains the information to get you to your next checkpoint. We have also incorporated things like Detours, Roadblocks and Fast Forwards to bring a real strategy to your event (and to help teams sabotage another team). We have a wide range of different tasks & challenges for your team to complete along the course, ranging from logic puzzles to a 30 second cheer routine, and everything in between.

At Tailored Team Building we completely understand that every team is different, therefore every event is different. Either leave the whole event to us, or choose the starting point, the end point or the theming and transport rules around your race, and we will tailor a completely unique race just for you! We work closely with your team in the lead up to your team bonding event to ensure that your Amazing Race is tailored to suit your team, so you get the most out of your event.

So I bet you’re wondering how it all works…..well….let us explain.

Our wonderful hosts will meet your team at the starting point & organise your group into smaller teams. We will play a fun, fast paced warm up game to get everyone in the racing mood, then send everyone on their way. The teams will be given clues that they will need to crack in order to figure out where their next checkpoint is. At each checkpoint, they will be required to complete a variety of challenges / tasks before moving on.

Our Amazing Races are designed to be completed on foot & on average cover approximately 3-5kms of total walking, but, like everything we do, this can be tailored.

Firstly, choose the region you want your race to start in.

Every one of our races is tailored to you and your team. You pick your start location and area. You either pick your finish location or give us an area and we can book your finish venue for you and keep it a secret! That way we can write it into the race as a final Pit Stop for you to work out.

Townsville City

Townsville city is a fantastic place for an Amazing Race. The Strand Esplanade, with its pier & water park are a popular place to host your next team building event. Explore the stunning parklands & city gardens and everything else the beautiful city of Townsville has to offer.

The range of landscapes through the city is endless making it a great area for either a foot race, public transport or a self drive event.

Pallarenda

Explore the stunning beachside area of Pallarenda, to the North of Townsville City Centre. This area offers great parklands including Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park, Robertson Park & Freemason’s Pallarenda Park.

This area is also perfect for our self-drive Amazing Race option if you are wanting to explore a wider area.

To the South of Townsville City Centre you will find the area of Fairfield, Wulguru & Idalia, which is a great area to explore on your next Amazing Race. This area has an abundance of stunning natural parklands & city garden areas for you to explore. This is a perfect area if you are wanting to take advantage of the public transport around & end your race in the Townsville City Centre.

Magnetic Island

The famous Magnetic Island offers to perfect backdrop for your next Amazing Race. Explore the stunning areas such as Horseshoe Bay, West Point, Florence Bay & Picnic Bay. This is the perfect location for your next conference & team building activity.

There are so many great places around Kelso for you to explore. Want to include the Townsville Barra Fun Park as a checkpoint? Sure! There are an abundance of natural parklands around the Kelso area which make great checkpoints & inclusions in your Amazing Race.

This area is great for either a classic foot race or self-drive option.

Corporate Amazing Race have been operating the Amazing Race, as well as other race based events, around Australia for over 17 years. We have the experience to organise fantastic group races for 2 people, up to 2000 people!

There are other companies claiming the same thing. The difference is we are still passionate (now more than ever) about the events we plan and run. Our races are continually evolving and getting better! Our directors love traveling around and playing games (we are huge escape room enthusiasts) for two reasons, 1; to have fun and 2; to learn and implement new ideas into our races.

Corporate Amazing Race is part of the Tailored Team Building group, making us big enough to have a true Australia-wide reach, but actively owned and run by the same two directors meaning we have the hands-on passion to really care.  Our directors still personally host as many of our events as possible and have hand picked an amazing team across multiple cities to help!
